ARGENTINE CONGRESS ON AGROINFORMATICS

Llamado a presentación de trabajosChamada de Trabalhos - Call for papers

The 12th Argentine Congress on Agroinformatics calls for Researchers, Technologists, Developers, Entrepreneurs and Companies related to the agribusiness sector to send papers related to ICTs applied to agricultural, agroindustrial and environmental issues, ranging from experimental to commercial instances.

The agro-industrial sector needs more and better technological solutions to its own problems and those derived from economic to climatic changes, solutions that in turn can be useful to other countries. Many of the solutions to these problems emerge from the contact between researchers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and students whose ideas and developments complement each other.

Topics of interest

The suggested topics, with specific application to agricultural, agroindustrial and environmental problems, although not exclusive, are the following:

·         Software and agricultural information systems.

·         Modeling of production systems.

·         Integration and traceability of agro-industrial chains.

·         Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, IDEs, Remote Sensing and Earth Observation.

·         Agro-industrial robotics.

·         Precision agriculture and livestock.

·         Sensor networks in crops, dairy, feed-lots and processing plants.

·         Embedded systems and electronic developments in the agro-industry.

·         Environmental monitoring and control.

·         Ontologies, Big Data, Open Data, DataMining and artificial intelligence applied to agriculture.

·         Bioinformatics and biological records.

·         Agroindustrial Web Services and Web 2.0.

·         New developments and experiments in AgroTICs.

·         Mobile apps.

·         Internet of things applied to agriculture.

·         Educational experiences in ICTs applied to agriculture.

Papers categories and Requested Formats

The papers submitted must be related to the reference topics and present results of research tasks, progress reports or specific developments. Whether due to its originality or potential application and impact on agribusiness or the public sector, the work must be of interest to the different actors of technological innovation and production. All papers must be submitted in PDF format, without authors, and without affiliation until the review process is finished. Abstracts should have sufficient space to include, in their final version, the authors and their affiliation. Sending papers to any of the 49 JAIIO symposiums is done through the SADIO conference management system. To submit your work you need to be registered (or register) and access the system. To answer any questions, you have the instructions for obtaining credentials and access to the job submission system. The works will be carefully reviewed by the members of the Scientific Committee, taking into account their originality, contribution, technical quality, and clarity. The best papers will be invited for publication in the Electronic Magazine of SADIO.

At least one of the authors of the approved works must be registered at the conference before the deadline for the final paper presentation (camera-ready) in order for it to be incorporated into the proceedings of the event. It is also a requirement to present at the date and time indicated for the exhibition of the work.
